Tip #1: Don’t stress! You’re a human being, you’ll have lots of temptations and the food that’s presented before you is really tasty it’s okay to have some. Now let’s not allow the fact that we are human and have temptations take over the fact that we are trying to stay fit even though it is the holiday season. So let’s have a little, just don’t super indulge.
Tip #2: Now aside from your traditional holiday meals, like on Christmas Day or some like that Christmas Eve night, try to maintain your normal eating patterns. Control your portions, eat with a smaller plate, stick to nutrient dense whole foods.
Tip #3: The parties. When you go to a party if at all possible in make sure you eat a solid meal before the party so that you’re not going in hungry. That will help you keep junk food intake minimum. If you want to control your booze intake, make sure you’re the designated driver.
Tip #4: Work place candy. I know it’s really hard to whip out a bag of carrots and broccoli while there’s a bowl full of Kit Kats sitting in front your face but I think a good way to get around that is to go ahead and have a couple of Kit Kats, they’re awesome, but then take the bowl of Kit Kats and move it somewhere else so it’s not right in your face staring at you all the time.
Tip #5: Gotta workout! Make sure you get to the gym! The holiday weeks are just like every other week, there’s 168 hours, you can find three to make it in I know you can!
