I have been attending Granite State Kettlebells since June 2013. Over this time I have been very impressed with the results of attending. I try to go 3-4 times a week. I have never been one that has been able to make a long term commitment to any exercise program. This is the longest I have attended a gym over the course of my life and I am still enjoying it. I really enjoy the variety of workouts and that all of my muscle groups get worked each visit, unlike other programs I have attended. I also enjoy the family atmosphere of the gym and how every time I walk in, no matter who is there, it feels like I get welcomed with open arms. I have gotten to know some really amazing people since attending the gym. The other great part is that it does not matter what your fitness level is to attend. I started 2 months after giving birth to my second child. Dan was sure to listen to how I was feeling and modifying activities for me that I could not yet do. When I first started I could not even do one sit-up, now I do not need the modification and I can do them. I also have seen people who are very physically fit and Dan finds a way to make the exercise harder so that they get more from going. The other thing I love is that no matter what your fitness level is, as long as you are working hard for your level everyone encourages you and no one judges what you can do. I would recommend this gym to anyone who is interested in making a lifelong change and is willing to work hard.
So you'll appreciate this, I unloaded 50 bags of wood pellets today all by myself with no break. This used to be so difficult for me that I would need to rest after only a bag or two. Thank you Granite State Kettlebells and you for your awesome training!
I started working out with Dan at Granite State Kettlebells one year ago, in August 2010. Almost immediately I noticed changes – my arm muscles were suddenly visible and my legs were sore, soooo sore! I am amazed at what I can do now – anything from improved balance, weight loss/smaller clothes, lift really heavy things, or jump THIS HIGH! I love it, even when I hate it. I miss it when I can’t go. I want everyone I know to try it. I can’t wait to do the Paleo Challenge again. Dan is a great trainer and the other members are very supportive and really fun! Thank God I found this place! - Beth Zinn, Keene, NH
I have been taking kettle bell class with Dan for 6 months. I have truly enjoyed the benefits of this unique type of training. While I have always been somewhat of an athletic and active person this training has stepped up so to speak my strength level and overall fitness ability in anything I do. I owe Dan a big thanks for being a super motivational instructor and having a breadth of knowledge on many areas of fitness and health.

I’ve only been taking classes with Dan at Granite State Kettlebells for four months yet it has already changed my life. I’ve never had more energy or been more effective--personally and professionally. The classes are customized for each person’s fitness level yet offer the camaraderie of a group workout with the benefit of a personal trainer. The intensity and variety gives me tremendous results without spending hours in the gym. I’ve improved my balance, reach, coordination, physical/mental strength, endurance, patience and self-esteem. The 30-day Paleo Challenge completely changed my relationship with food and I’ve already lost 57 pounds! Thanks Dan for all that you continue to do to help me achieve my fitness goals. - Carmen Prandini Trafton - Keene, NH
Training at Granite State Kettlebells was a great experience for me. It was a new way of working out that had me a little nervous at first, but Dan immediately put me at ease and got me familiar with the workouts and the kettlebells in no time. Dan creates a comfortable atmosphere where anyone would feel welcome. The workouts themselves are tailored to each person, so I got the best workout I could handle on any given day. The combination of personal attention and group atmosphere make going to a regular gym a distant memory. I was very happy with my experience at Granite State Kettlebells - if I didn't just move over 100 miles away, I'd still be training there! - Scott Willison - VT
Since I've been training with Dan at Granite State Kettlebells, my level mountain bike riding, skiing and overall athleticism has skyrocketed. I ski, ride and train harder than any of my friends and competition. Thanks to the unique training blend that Dan has so masterfully built, I'm stronger, faster and tougher than I have been in my entire athletic career, and the results are there for all to see!
